Renter's Insurance Information

All residents are REQUIRED  to obtain renter’s insurance during their stay at Fraternity Row. Renter’s insurance is MANDATORY and a great way to protect yourself and your valuable items from unexpected situations (which can include natural disaster, fire, theft and water damage—depending on the level of insurance).  Renter’s insurance will also cover damages to other people’s property if you were to be at fault in an apartment accident.

If you have car insurance, please talk to your car insurance company as many will bundle renter’s insurance with other policies at a discounted rate.

If you do not have a preferred renter’s insurance company, we suggest that you research a variety of insurance companies to find the one that best suits you as they often carry different levels of insurance protection at different rates.  Renter’s insurance is affordable for everyone and can be as low as $20/month.

Insurance must be good for the length of the lease and may cover multiple residents.  If roommates choose to go on a renter's insurance policy together, all roommate names must appear on the policy along with the specific apartment number.

Some common insurance companies include (but are not

limited to):

- E-Renter Plan

- Allstate

- State Farm

- Progressive

- Geico

- Wells Fargo

- Travelers

Once a policy has been selected, please complete the Renter's Insurance Policy Confirmation Form.  You will be required to upload a copy of your policy statement to the form.  Please make sure that your name and apartment number appear on the policy for the duration of your lease.  If roommates are sharing a policy, all roommate names participating need to be on the policy and each individual resident must complete the confirmation form.

Residents will not be able to pick up their keys without providing proof.
